Above all Else

I want peace to be my underlying companion in all aspects and circumstances of my life. I want it to pervade everything. I want my life experience from when I wake to when I go to sleep to be awash with peace.

What is a life without peace?

What is physical well being without peace?

What is material gain without peace?

What is the gaining the many things and missing of the one very thing?

Is it a worthy trade off?

I want peace that is so intense that no anxiety, worry, fear, concern, turmoil, regret, doubt, etc can have an abode within me.

I want peace so vivid that I feel it every waking moment of my life.

I want peace that is so deep and independent of life situation to arise.

I want peace that just is, no matter what.

I want peace to be the center that everything else in my life in anchored or built upon.

May the Lord grant me this peace.
