She Cares that I Breath

After many seasons of first hope, hope and despair, and purely despair,
After many years of treading bumpy, muddy, pothole roads and surfing tsunami waters,
She meets the deepest desires of my heart,
More so without having to ask, it is just there; overflowing like a chocolate fountain.
Cured of loneliness, I can’t seem to remember how it felt.
Respect and appreciation that I deeply crave are her default setting,
Restored my belief in love, that I could really be loved and cared for, exactly the way that I long to be…such a rarity.
That I am worthy, unqualified as I am,
Graceful beyond measure,
Soft soothing voice, whispers to my heart when speaks.
Child-like laughter that immediately cheers me up,
Who knew one could love the way someone sneezes and yawns,
I can feeling my life transforming from the innermost of me,
She sees me the way I like to see myself — even way more,
It makes me want to be my best, No cliché.
I have started to pinch myself less, because the denial about the realness of it is fading away, it is real, it is here, it is happening.
The questions of why she like a guy like me have equally faded,
She is truly heaven sent as the song says,
…
