The Reassurance of Truth
Today is day 8 since I arrived at the place I am now. A new level of freedom that is now where I live. To credit this transformation to myself is a mistake. I was brought here by something higher than this self called ‘me’. The transformational power of truth. Different terminology have been used to refer to this. The word truth to me shoots straight. It bears very little baggage from socio-religious circles.
The reassurance of truth is that once one arrives at the place they wanted via truth it is done. That is it. Once need not to put any more effort, practice a method, join a group, do anything. No maintenance work. He arrives permanently — this means life long transformation. It is a once and for all transformation and not temporary change. Truth is that which cannot be further broken down, it is the getting into fundamental nature of things. If one has heartfelt desire for transformation, truth is the only avenue that can deliver.
Arrival via truth is so unimaginable. It is the antidote to the thing one thinks he can never change about himself such as chronic addiction. It cures it cold turkey, once. The thing is rendered powerless upon the face of truth, and when the change arrives it stays. It is not that you have it sometimes and other times not. The arrival comes with a clear cut knowing that ‘I am free’ that this is it. It delivers one to a new plane of existence.
This is the only solution to human problems yet what is offered in the marketplace is something miles off. The marketplace offers prescriptions, methods, how tos, 5 steps, austerities, techniques, beliefs. If you ask someone to help you with your problems, they will either give you something to do (prescription) or admit that they can’t help because they don’t have a prescription. Rarely is one given the truth. If one needs to find the truth about the problems in his life after having seen the futility of prescriptions and how to’s, he will walk a lonely path. He will not find the masses because the masses do not care for the truth, not that they should — that is just the way things are.
The truth is best served or stated raw, unedited, wild. This way it has most transformative power. The seeker will see it there and then or not. Anything that is served to the masses is devoid of its rawness because the speaker waters it down for it to be explicable to the masses, and this is why truth can never be found anywhere in the masses or the mainstream. Anything that makes it to the masses is compromised with untruths. An individual is only served by direct, straight shot truth, not half truths, not that which has room for interpretation and not lies, only plain truth.
Arriving at things via truth is arriving at things naturally, without force. That which is arrived at naturally lasts, it does not introduce more problems in to the human beings life such as inner conflict or doubt. Seeking arrival via prescriptions is forced therefore unnatural, inorganic. The changes are temporary and it will bring more problems into the human beings life because the prescription has to be continuously fulfilled for the change to stay.
I now know that this will be my lifelong devotion because it is the only thing that has delivered lasting change in my life. It is the only thing that has worked. It has solved my problems in ways that I could never imagine possible. Such writings are my testimony…
