Voted, Free From Pain
The last month has been one of a lot of pain for me. I hurt my back in the gym again. The scan report says it is stenosis. One of my lower back discs is budged out to the point where it touches the nerve hence a lot of pain. Walking, sitting, bending, just pain, pain, pain. I couldn’t even keep my room in order, all I did was eat, work a bit, go to the toilet, sleep. I have had 4 physiotherapy sessions, 2 doctor’s visits and the MRI scan. I have slept on a carpet because my mattress is not hard to try to relieve my symptoms.
I got a response on one of my articles advising me to take Ibuprofen and I have taken only one plus supplements I was prescribed and I am happy to say for the first time that the pain is relieved, on the days of pain, I would be worn out by evening because of the fatigue that pain brings, but today I am relatively well, I feel that my recovery ha started. Now I can keep a positive mindset that I will fully recover because I have started to see some progress.
I feel gratitude that I am finally free from a huge chunk of the pain, I am going to be fine. The stories I tell people can now change from bad to I am feeling better.
Today is general election day in my country, Kenya. I am excited about the candidates I voted for, wish me luck. I am hope I can handle the disappointed of them losing if they happen to.
